DEAM is a young company with offices in Amsterdam and Groningen that develops steerable precision-instruments for minimally invasive surgery. The ends of the DEAM instruments can be moved freely in all directions. This allows surgeons to also treat locations that are difficult to reach. In addition, the steerable instruments have major advantages with the ever more generally accepted 3D imaging techniques with which surgeons can view what they are doing while they are performing surgery.
